The Darkness of Winter

Cold,
Freezing cold.
Dark,
Deep dark,
Black hole dark.
No light,
No smell,
Only dank,
Only dark.
Pressing,
Drowning,
Hating,
Killing.
How do we,
Survive?
We don't.
A cold,
Colorless,
Like black velvet.
No escape from,
The dark.
No escape from,
The cold.
No animals,
No plants,
No sounds,
Only the smell of cold,
And ice,
And snow.
No day,
Only night,
No Sun,
No Moon,
No Stars.
This is winter,
There is no reason to live.
