Someone once asked me: “who are you?”
And to be honest, I didn’t have a clue
But now that thought has been given
To this question, I have thriven
I am the beat in your favorite song
That supports the rest of the throng
I am the explosive gasoline
That runs your working machine
I am the doer of things needing done
I am a workhorse and strong as a bison
If you need help, I’ll always be there
Even if I have nothing to spare
Who am I? Who am I?
I am the one that will always try
I won’t give up on you, no matter the outcry
I am always in steady supply
