Look outside and see who's there
A silhouette of your despair
Who lays upon his rusted blade
The fragments of the ones you bade
To leave the sweetest taste of life
Their blood upon the salted knife

And if you think I'm to believe
I'm wrong in what I perceive
I'll argue you until I know
The proper path you're doomed to go

And if you think I'm all a lie
With nothing but the ropes that tie
The soothing noose that, long ago,
Stole away the ones you know

I'll tell you truthful, I won't take
The blunders you're about to make
Trade them from yours to my own
Transforming so you are condoned
Instead I'll leave you just this air
A silhouette of your despair
