A dark stage
Red velvet curtains
Whispers of anticipation
Lonely props
Sitting, waiting on stage.
The audience is getting weary
The actors are nervous
In the end it doesn’t matter.
It all comes together
To form the perfect show.
One that makes you laugh
One that makes you cry
And one that makes you smile.
