let me pretend

falling down the stairs
accidentally on purpose
screaming yelling
shouting slamming
the accusations cease-firing
wounds of the body
bleeding and stinging
self-inflicted pleasurable pain
wounds of the mind
poisonous and scarring
wounds of the heart
changing and forever
painful and harsh
but never rying out
don't help me
don't touch me
leave me be
i can do whatever i want
i never asked your help
i never asked your woulding kindness
your selfish idea that i'm not okay
so i like pain?
so i like silence?
so i like solitude?
there's nothing wrong
i don't need help
i don't need a doctor
i don't need some moron asking me what's wrong
look in my eyes and believe me when i say
that i'm okay
let me pretend a little longer
