Snow in Flight
Snow, so simple and sweet,
forever holds the innocence i need.
Intricate and different from all of the others,
holds more attention than unwanted feathers.
You float slowly to the ground,
i fly freely around and around.
You melt, still so simple and sweet,
while my body will fall, rott and feed.
That which does not last,
simple things the grief they cast.
