These jagged memories
Cut against my skin
Carving them in forever
If forever was the end
They mark my instability
My one and only weakness
Bright and cold for them to see
My every broken edge
I am everybody’s claim
I do not match what’s within
You’d never be the same
If you encountered my deadly sin
This is dark and this is deceptive
This is what I want the most of
The shattered world in which I live
Is one you’ve never dreamed of
