I open my eyes and I see blue,
I forgot where I was, I almost forgot you too.
Miles away from home and I am home,
as you are lying right beside me.
The rain hits the window,
outside; hear the thunder roar.
You hand in mine,
we sit on your steps;
letting the storm get us soaking wet.
The town is alive tonight,
you always want to go.
While my head’s in the clouds
and you’re always down below.
