I can never be one of the few, the proud...
I can never be army strong... Basically as long as I 'don't ask' to join the military they 'don't tell' me that I'm not allowed.
So yeah - I can never fight for this country because of one part of my persona.
But hey, it's America - and we have the right to ban people due to their sexual oreintation,
it's not like this is a free nation after all...

I once seriously considered entering the military as a option in life. But due to the don't ask, don't tell, I'll never be allowed. And it hurts because I know I can never even just have the option to defend the land I was born on.
