Don't Cry Little Girl
Sixteen years of a miserable life
Can’t deal with the pain
Can’t deal with the strife
Wandering through life wondering what to do
The boys say you’re crazy
The girls say you’re sick
Your parents just shiver, and hope for the fix
Your best friends are sickened; they don’t know what to do
You’ve gone so far out, they’re through with you
The stripes on your arm will tell very quickly
You’ve been through hell and can’t take it now
It’s just like you fell and cannot get up
And why even try, you’re so tired and afraid
Don’t cry little girl, someday it will all fade.
