"When your life flashes before your eyes, make sure it's worth watching" - Unknown

Majestic cliffs carved along the grey shoreline
Thrashing waves tumbling from the ocean
Cold dry wind howling and moaning through blades of highland grass
I climb onto a coarse rock and fling my arms open
I feel the light of nature twinkling in my eyes
I feel the breath of nature bellowing through my lungs
I empower the sea, the sky
The world
Me

The author's comments:
This poem was inspired by rural Scotland and Ireland--hills, cliffs, sea. I hope readers can take away a feeling of simplicity or feel empowered when the wind blows upon them.

I felt she wrote this about my trip to Scotland with her Dad to experience golf on a "Links" style golf course, one that was a "link" between the sea, the cliffs and the hills.  Oustanding visual imagery!
