Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'd die today

I welcome the pain.
Pain helps me to remember.
To remember him.
His eyes,
So beautiful and deep.
The curve of his lips.
His teeth
So bright, so brilliant.
My heart constricts
As the memories flow.
I feel...
Desertion
Betrayal
Lonely.
These feelings,
Though unwanted,
I can't let go.
These memories,
Though they're haunting,
I can't live without.
They're all I have
Of him
Of us together.
I'm cried out.
Tears no longer fall.
I can't mourn us anymore.
All I feel is hollow.
Every momment
It grows stronger,
It lasts longer.
But still
I welcome the pain.
pain helps me remember.
Helps me to remember
Us.

The author's comments:
This poem is about someone I had the chance to observe. She did whatever she could to remember anything about him because he was all she had. She thought he was the only one who ever loved her. That's why she wouldn't let go.

well written, word choice is decent, but sorry the content of this is a bit bland and really typical. seems like there's not a meaningful depth to it.
