Breathe. A scent of Ocean Salt and fruit juice engulfs you.
Jump. And feel the sand beneath your feet.
The warm breeze envelopes your very being.
Close your eyes. Fall backward
And land on a large hammock
Open your eyes
The vast expanse
Of the sky overwhelms you
It’s too bright
Your eyelids flutter, then you sway into a rhythmic beat
Hours later, a sea gull grazes your hand and you awake
The once bright sky has turned into a majestic purple
A palette of orange, yellow, and red paint the most breathtaking sunset
Breathe. And smell the palm trees holding your “cocoon”
Walk. To your hotel
And dream the night away at the beach.

Rainstorm in the Night

Feel. The cool wet drops, slide down your skin
Allow the fresh air to fill your lungs
Inhale
Relax
Take each step slowly.
Run. Feel the exhilaration and adrenaline pumping through your blood.
Slow down. You place your hand in front of your face
It is a dim figure
You shiver from the cold
Its time to go home and relax.
Then it begins to pour
Harder than ever
Sprinting
You arrive safely at where your heart is
Home.
Those Frozen Moments

What are more enjoyable than those moments that seem to fly by?
That you want to hold on to, to freeze, and to savor?
So, stop, and experience each and every feeling/emotion again. Breathe.
Think back…
Leap. You hope, you wince, but slide perfectly into splits at the
Center of your dance team and the audience grants you a standing ovation
Hundreds of thoughts and emotions are catapulted into your mind at once.
But nothing seems to matter right now.
You are frozen into place
Taking in all the bliss.

At each new moment you encounter, stop.
Feel. Your emotions matter. Possess your enjoyment of this memory. Nothing happens
The same twice. Don’t forget. These wonderful times that seem to come your way whenever you decide to be happy, have the right attitude, etc.

This is one of the ways to enjoy life.
