We slowly walk all alone,
Down a path to the unknown.
My hand holds yours, your hand holds mine.
Knowing together we’ll be just fine.
The air is cold, leaves crunch beneath my feet,
I quickly grow tired, and need to take a seat.
Your polka dot dress compliments your emerald eyes,
You’re a beautiful woman in disguise.
I am 4 and you are 3,
Our parents knew this friendship would be,
A lasting friendship, I know it’s true,
That one day I will again fall in Love with you.
