"Color Wheel"
When we met, you were graphite gray in my eyes, but
When we spoke, you changed.
You were mahogany. You were autumn and red-orange.
When we kissed, you were flaming red fire,
burning to the soul.
When you cried, you were royal blue. Deep violet and the ocean.
We were brighter than any possession of the Great Mitus.
More pure than any cloud.
Green growth and hope and happiness. But
When you left, I was black.
