How did I get myself caught in this mutated fairy tale?
A rip in my slip instead of misplaced glass slipper
I’d rather have Cindi’s pumpkin than my subpar car
Sometimes I wonder; Am I the Beauty or the Beast?
A simple bippity-boppity without the essential boo
I’d rather Rapunzel’s hair than my mop on top
No royal blood line or silver spoon
No sparkles or fairies
No magic or witches
Ordinary
Bland
Life
How did I get myself caught in this mutated fairy tale?
Where my Prince Charming is M-I-A
They pretty much aren’t good for anything anyway
