Everything seemed fine.
I finally became stronger,
I stood up to my ex-boyfriend,
I'm over him now, finally.
My best friends haven't had any drama,
everyone was happy,
everything was so calm and peaceful.
Like a dream,
everyone smiling,
my boyfriend was perfect,
my best friends happy,
and my family was normal.

One day,
my boyfriend disappointed,
ruined my morning and his too.
Thinking everything would be fine,
I left the idea out of my mind
and tried to enjoy the rest of my day.
But it didn't help,
I was so spaced out.
Everyone seemed like a blur,
nothing was there to smile about,
the world seemed to get darker and more depressing.

As the day went on,
we finally got out of school,
my boyfriend and I went to the park where we usually go after school.
It was quiet,
in the distance we could hear children playing at the elementary school,
cars passing by and driving pass the speed limit,
leaves and swing sets moving from the wind.
We sat down,
no one talked,
it seemed so weird but also very comfortable,
as time went by,
no one talked and it just sat there.
It was time for him to go,
as he stood up,
I held on to his jacket with my hand,
and he looked back.
I didn't want him to go and he knew it,
but both of us knew that he had to.
I stood up and hugged him,
he hugged me back,
and as we looked at each other,
it felt different than before,
something seemed lost and I didn't know that it was.
Without a sound,
he leaded in and kissed me.
It reminded me of our first kiss,
and a few kisses after that,
those kisses had been like a dream.
But this kiss...
was different,
and it felt like something between us had broke.

My dream-like life had broken,
and there was no way to fix it.

This is really sad and it has nice images. Just be careful of telling us too much...you can hint at stuff with metaphor and make it more powerful

Nice work. :-)
