These days just don't seem to end
Seems forever is the time I'll spend
Locked away inside my mind
thoughts are all I seem to find
Withholding the words I wish to say
quickly retreating, hiding them away
Spending life within my head
lonely wishing upon my bed
I'd rather find that I'm unknown
than hated for the one I've almost shown
Or am I the baby bird falling from the nest
to afraid of flying to have tried my best
