Across The Way
I see the face that once hovered over my own, breathing deep, body increasingly curious.
These years have made you a stranger to me, the mind I once fond of is now a mystery.
As I watch you across the way I remember the day we laid together on the floor with your hands on my stomach and my waist, holding me as if to make me stay still.
We didn't make it more or even share a simple kiss. You used to be my best friend. Now, you are just a boy across the way I wish I could know.
