I'm learning to dance
And not to fumble with my feet
To listen to the music
And to make my movements neat

I'm learning to dance
And not to watch with worried eyes
To tell myself I'll make it
And not some worried lies

I'm learning to dance
And to depart from the world around me
While I do saltes and jetes
And not care what everyone else thinks

I'm learning to leap, step, and glide
And to let the melodies come inside
To smile, to frown, to laugh, to cry
All because

I'm learning to feel

The author's comments:
I love dancing, but since I was the youngest in my class I was always intimidated by everyone elsse's skills. Then i learned that it doesn't matter how you dance, but why you dance. I dance because i Love it, and that's all the matters.
