Young girl,
Suffocating in your silent sobs,
Drowning in the dry drops of your eyes,
Wading in the waters at world's end.
Like you,
I long
To be anywhere but here.
And I assure you
What they've assured me
So many times before:
There will come a day
When you will burn bold and bright,
Star among morning stars.
They do not know much.
Here is what I know:
Lie.
Lie to yourself.
Lie to the world.
Smile,
