At least I’m good at hiding it,
Even when you look me in the eyes,
I can tell by your reaction,
That my eyes block emotion,

I can tell that you feel it too,
Even though your voice is steady,
Every time you speak aloud,
And I know what is running through your brain,

Days trudge by like years,
Seconds seem like days,
And weeks like months,
How long will you let this go?

At night I toss and turn,
It’s painful to be alone,
Staring out into the vast, black darkness,
Sparks no flames of new ideas,

I’m waiting it out,
But every time your eyes reflect how much pain I'm in,
I know I’m not doing it right

my favorite stanza is the second to last one...i like the story in it, its a tiny bit choppy though, maybe change some words around, mess with the flow a little?
