Ghost
just another tear, falling down that porcelain face
she hopes to never forget this place
where everything feels so right.
the people don’t judge, fight or rush;
they just hold her tight.
away from there, she’s so alone
people surround her but no remorse is shown
her head is down, she walks with shame.
the people don’t know anything about her;
they don’t know her name.
she screams ‘why’ and sheds another tear
this drop releases her true fear
of others and herself; because no one cares.
a friend is all she really wants;
that someone is always in her prayers.
