Here I am,
There you are,
With times like these
I wish we weren’t so far.
You trust Him
Not knowing what’s ahead,
I hear it in your strong voice
As we sit and talk on your bed.
We talk about the present,
We talk about the past.
We talk about how
We are growing up too fast.
We talk about that horrible summer
We both had to go through.
The summer that we will always remember,
When I moved away from you.
Tonight will always be
One of my most cherished memories.
I am so glad
You spent this time with me.
