He Knows Me
In the morning, when I awake,
I need You, and You are there.
In the night, as I slumber,
I need You, and You are there.
As I walk the halls of my school,
I need You, and You are there.
You know my name, You created me,
From the dust, and breathed life into me.
It was then that I had my being, my very existence.
You have been with me, always.
Watching, Protecting, Guiding, Interceding.
I am Your daughter, Your own offspring.
Surely You have been with me always,
And now I know, You took me out of my ways,
and wrapped me in Your love.
You made me new, refined the old,
With a new heart, and a new soul.
Lord You make my life complete.
You have become my whole heart,
my whole soul, and my whole mind.
You are my life.
