Two Silhouettes
In your eyes I see the flashbacks begin to set
And in your eyes I can see we are merely two silhouettes
We are dark, you and i, and we both needn't try
for eachother we are nothing
we are everything and nothing, we are presence of mind
We are purely infections and not at all pretentious
we are not right for this world, we're as dulled as our senses
My shell of a life and your life spent in hell
Have led us to believe that we've done something well
No you're wrong!... You are right, we're nonexistent despite our existing failures and our incessant spite
Yes, it will never stop, and no it will never end
and it all seems so difficult not craving the end
But that's where we're right and that's how we're strong
Why apart we are nothing but together belong
While nothing to the world, yet the world to us
love is our anguish as we discretely rust
But after our bodies have been finally laid to rest
The world-they will see-we are not just two silhouettes
