The ground I walk on hurts.
It makes my feet blister and burn.
I have to keep moving.
Nothing can stop me.
The rocks puncture through
The soles of my feet.

The ground seems to disappear.
I don’t mind.
But I keep moving my feet,
Afraid of falling.
But I am.
I am the blossom on the
Spring tree.
I spiral, gently gracefully.
I can see my body leaving
The earth, down to unknown.
I am flying.

But I’m not.
I am seeing through my eyes again.
The world has left me long ago.
I’m not there anymore.
But I don’t want to fall anymore.

I close my weary eyes.
I don’t want to end this way.
But I feel warmth grow on my back
I twist up to see a hand reaching for mine.
I desperately reach for it too.

I am caught.

I am pulled above my home.
