airborne
i’m spinning vibrant, splendidly sinking
who would have thought gravity
could lift me up high
you catch me
i’m fallen
brushing off stardust
shaking off universe
my lungs filled with ozone
my eyes struck by sky
we’re here, nonexistent
save for two hearts, two souls
entwined
surrounded and dazzled
it’s magnetic, it’s stellar
our eyes become galaxies
our heads caught in the clouds
our lips trickle moonshine
zooming, we forget
our past, our earth, our burdens
reality is no more
don’t look back

Blastoff.
it’s a rocketship love
a flight of our hearts
don’t look down
oh baby you’re beaming
you’re soaring
a brilliant flare
a starburst emotion
this supernova of thought
the men in white coats
they say
it started with a bang
funny
how our hearts did the same
do you feel it?
it’s laissez-faire, it’s unconcerned
it’s fire, it’s ice
oh do you remember
when you believed in magic?
it’s here
we’re airborne
on our spaceship
in the stars
