"Wow, That was awkward"

The eyes are windows to the soul
The face is the mirror of the heart
I look at my eyes in the mirror
I see nothing
I watch my face and see nothing
I know there must be something there
I know there is emotion in me
But what is it I feel?
Is what I show other people,
Really me, or what they want from me?
How can I tell the difference?
My soul, my emotions
All are invisible to me
I watch others and I see
I know what they feel
I can see their souls
Why can’t I see mine?
Do I have one to see?

The author's comments:
Well this came about because of couple of things. 1 I was listening to an old song by The Who called Behind Blue Eyes, and 2 I have felt this way before and did not know how to say how I felt. Maybe this doesn't expresses it but this is how my brain works.
