Tears Shouldn't Fall
TEARS SHOULDN’T FALL
What do you see when you look at me?
Do you see that modern girl?
Do you, she is like a child
In a play, all she will do is laugh and run away,
Tonight, ah, oh, tonight, she’ll find out
About all your lies, but it’s your fault
There will be tears in her eyes.
She can’t tell what’s going through your mind
In her perfect world, her peaceful run through the wild flowers,
With the clouds blowing away, she doesn’t know.
Tonight, ah, oh, tonight, darkened clouds will
Roam the blue skies, but it’s your fault
There will be tears in her eyes.
There is nothing that you will be able to do
That you won’t cry too.
Let her have today and please don’t break
My heart, I just can’t take it.
