Listening to the Rain at 11:57
The rain falls from high above in a swollen cloud,
and drop and twirls to a sudden plop on the earth.
It mumbles and speaks: [listen, listen carefully]
a language all its own,
I could sit all day long, and simply listen to it talk
and mingle and seep into the ground.
