I was 10 when she went away
I was sad and in pain
The war began, it may end one day

I was 11 when she went away
I was sad but getting use to the pain
The war is here, its not going away

I was 13 when she went away
I hated the repeated sight of losing her, but prayed to see her agion some day
The war is here, its getting old

I am 15 and she went away
no more pain, its all the same
The war is here, I dont care.

So my mom is over seas and this is the 4th time she has gone and we had to do an assignment in school to write a poem and this is what i came up with. My teacher suggested we put them up on here and i thought it was a great idea so i did xD!
