If you come across a shell
Put it close to your ear
Listen very closely
To the wonders you can hear

You can hear the angels singing
And the proud sun burning brightly
You can even hear trees smile
If at first only slightly

You can hear rabbits talk
And the sound of light lifting
You can even hear snowflakes
Slowly, softly drifting

You can hear time go by
And the sound of crafters crafting
You can even hear the butterflies
And the soft sound of clouds laughing

So if you come across a shell
Keep it close at hand
With it you can hear
All the wonders of god’s land
