This I know
I know for sure
You left me once
Then twice
Clear as day
I won’t take your apology
Because this time I know
I know that I deserve better than you
The new you that you have shaped and formed
For me to disagree and hate
But it’s sad that you
Don’t know that you
Are unworthy of my trust
So, all that’s left to say and do
Is leave you, this, and the past
Behind me.
