This sickness is a costume
we just cant rid of,
This mask it hides you
so very well.
A heart; a beating heart,
and lungs that
tell all.
Take this costume off and revel
this sickness true.
This sickness is a costume that will soon consume.
So come on,
come on Mom,
Shake this costume of sickness
right on off.

THis poem is for my mother whos is curently in ICU. I had written this for her to try to get the very emotions I'm feeling about everything out.
