We’re just friends
Have always been
So that means it’s not supposed to be right?
You don’t fall in love with friends
That’s the whole point
Friends have your back and are there for you but not like that
They don’t dream about each other and the way they smile
So why do I find myself feeling this way
Where a smile makes my stomach turn
A hug hello or goodbye is never long enough
Where you long to here a laugh
Any time away is too long and together too short
Am I a bad friend for feeling this way
Is it wrong that I don’t want anyone to know
Can anyone ever see me like that
Can a friend
Should I risk telling
If I do, will our friendship be ruined
How was I stupid enough to fall in love
How was I fortunate enough for it to be my friend
