Raindrops & Suicide
Raindrops fall from the clouds
Like tears from her sad blue eyes
 Falling to the ground
 Like tears to her shirt

 Raindrops pitter-patter on the leaves
 Like tears on her sleeve
 Dripping from the gutter
Like the blood to her desk

 Rain pounds the roof
Like the pain in her heart
Running from the roof in rivulets
Like the river from her veins

The last raindrops fall from the clouds
Like the tears from her cheeks
Giving new life to the earth
To replace the one that just so brutally ended
