Who's That Girl

Who’s that girl
With the short skirt up to here
And the girls surrounding her
Mimicking her every move
That’s the popular girl
Who’s that girl
With the scars on her wrists
And the permanent grimace
that never turns into a smile
That’s the emo girl
Who’s that girl
With her nose in a book
Glasses and braces
And not an ounce of fashion sense
That’s the nerd
Who’s that girl
With the soccer jersey
Hair tossed in a ponytail
Basketball close at hand
That’s the jock
Who’s that girl
With the black eye makeup
Writing dark poetry
In black Sharpie
That’s the goth
Who’s that girl
Who doesn’t belong to any group
at all
Who is just her
That’s me

i actually found this poem a bit offensive. (i'm not trying to be mean) But, all i saw in here was Stereotypes. "popular" "Emo" i don't like that word. emo. ugh. it's just the first three letters of emotional. "nerd." mean. "goth" eh. i liked it but... just not really my type of style. i'm an antisteryotype person.

its not supposed to be stereotypical it is supposed to reflect on the most common interpretation of the different cliques
