A word is dead when it is said, some say. I say it just begins to live that day.

The drugs I use won't let me quit. I'm being drug into a pit. A pit of disaster; As I sink faster,I think about everything that has happened to me. It seems I've had a good life. To you but not to me. I've hit rock bottom, Or so it seems. The monster still surges through my veins, I can't speak or move, the high engulfs me. I appear dead, but have no fear. I still live. I'm a shell. There is no soul. I sold that forever and a day ago. I'm above ground in a fleshy tomb. Death is welcome, but he dare not come here, For there is too much to fear. Because without you my dear I sink lower and lower, until I reach here. The end of my last line,I become engulfed again, and I die.
