Dear Child
October 24, 2009
Shut you eyes, dear child, please pray
Don't listen, precious, just look away
Cover ears and hold your breath
Sweet child, of what is left
Sleep in peace, innocence, dream deep
Don't be thinking, please fall asleep
Lay within your pact of lies-
Poor child, your mind's disguise
Awaken child, do not suffer this day
Shut your eyes, again, please lay
Your mind and body too broken, damaged
Tragic child, your life's a savage

It more tells a story, of a child dealing with the pain life gives as such a very young age and struggling to avoid it. And a figure telling the child it's not right to get better... I'm just not sure what the figure is, the child itself grown>?

My poems took about a week to two weeks to get approval. Any stories I've written have been pending approval for about a month now. I have a feeling it has more to do with whoever feels like getting around to reading the stories/poems. If someone skips over it, it may take another two weeks for someone to check it out.

Yeah 2 of mine got published in about a week, and I have many more that have been pending for quite some time now. Its really annoying me that they are not being published. Is there anything to do?
