Rain on the Mountains
The rain patters downward, downward

 Toward the mountains majestically standing

 Harder, harder

It beats downward, driving is dangerous

A car screeches; it was close

Headlights blink on and people huddle home

What a gloomy, sad day, it is

A gloomy, rainy day for everyone

But a pink flower peaks out of dull green grass

 Ans a child laughs
