You accepted me when others didn't
You held my heart in your hand
My shoulders when I cried
You bandaged my wounds
Inside and out
I will never forget
All that you've done
I will never let go
I will hold your memory in my heart
And love you forever and always

The author's comments:
The inspiration of this poem comes from the death of a very dear friend who was like a brother to me. I'm glad that something good could ever come out of something so bad.
