I see you crying those diamond tears
I see your emerald eyes are hurting
I see your ruby heart is breaking
And an onyx cloud destroys your hope

Lies are whispered in your ears
Your trust has been betrayed
Every moment seems a lifetime as you wait for hope to come;
And your waiting seems in vain
Fear comes in place of hope and steals away your sun
You're left alone in the dark, crying bitter tears

You cry out for Hope, but silence replies
Your garnet heart is broken and matches your sapphire eyes.
