The darkness of night
no child's delight.
They hide as they fight
to keep off the light.
As darkness creeps in the children don't win.
They hold in their wales
and have horrible tales.
As it swallows them up
they slip out of their rut.
They turn to the darkness
never to return.

The author's comments:
The fears we have hurt us sometimes. I wrote this to show how a simple fear a child has scares them. They can't sleep or walk or even move sometimes ther so afraid. We shouldn't let our fears consume us. My worst fear personally is to be in complete darkness with noone or nothing around.
