Star Sailing
The world is bleak
 Life itself diminishes
 And all around I see
The lives of others start to blink-
Blink aloud like the stars above
 And like some cataclysmic phenomenon
The life of others moves on.

Onward I say, to victory among Orion's large belt,
Today I'll flow through the crowds of panic and glee
While tomorrow I will start to pack.
 And as they say,
 “Capt'n please don't go away!”
They will all feel the same
 Thing day after day.
And soon Not one ship, but several will light the sky
And among the dying tones of gray,
 Will burst a new array.
 If lights dawned anew
Then I'll be there to throw them askew.

 Remember you well
 My tale of life,
because one day you will see the stars as I do
and hear the people as all one the same,
 And in one transcendental moment,
 The earth will become one
 Before parting again,
 As the process begins anew.
