Making of My Wonder Machine

I’m going to build my wonder machine.
My wonder machine will do wonders.
There will be nothing like my wonder machine,
It is a bit difficult to describe.
I guess I have to make an outline.
I just need some paper…

I made the outline for my wonder machine,
It is complexly grand, inspiring, amazing.
So many things I will need for my wonder machine,
But I bet I’ll be able to find them.
I hope mom doesn’t mind if I look in the kitchen…

I have all the parts for my wonder machine,
The bits and pieces will make a marvel.
I will assemble it in the garage.
If I want to finish before lunch, I have to start now.
Now where is that blowtorch…?

Finally, I’ve finished my wonder machine,
I will be with the ranks of the great,
But when I take a look at the wonder machine,
It looks a bit, who am I kidding, a lot like a…
Microwave, blender, double whisk, toaster, sharpener,
Radio, three faucet, bubble blower, waffle iron,
And some other blasted contraptions,
But at least it works…no, it doesn’t.
Oh well, I wonder if there is anything good on TV.
