I Miss You

It was cancer that took you,
But one would never know
That you were ill, you took everything in stride
Now you’re gone and I miss you
Every time I see pink, I miss you
Taken too soon and for no reason, I miss you
You were so relaxed and easy to talk to
But now I can’t and I miss you
I could use your advice right now, I really do miss you
Some days I miss you more than others
Christmas, the one time we would all meet
Just seems so empty without you, I miss you
I miss you, we all miss you
We really truly do
