Lonely...

I smiled
but felt nothing
Not the warmth of happiness
Not the light its supposed to bring
I am surrounded by so many friends
but I feel so alone
I don't belong with them,
They deserve someone better
We all laugh
but I feel so hollow
I don't belong
it doesn't feel right
I realize,
How lonely I really am
It doesn't matter if I am with my friends
or just in my room
I am lonely all the time.
