Save Me

Living in a world of confusion
Trying to put it all together
Trying to make it all make sense
But it never does
Maybe it never will

So why do I still try?
What am I really searching for?
I search for answers
But only find more questions
When will they stop?
Why won't they leave me alone?

Their constant voices
Always nagging
Wondering why this happened
Or what went wrong there
When will this work
Or will you ever do that

The more I search
The deeper I get
Now I'm lost in the dark
Where all I hear is their voices
The constant chatter of nonsense
When will they stop?
Why won't they leave me alone?

I'm too far gone to return
So I keep searching
For what I'm not sure
Maybe answers
Maybe nothing at all
I'm sure now of only one thing
I must find what I set out to seek
I must search deeper
And silence the relentless nagging
Silence the constant chatter of their voices

Or
Surrender myself to my own insanity
So for this reason
I am constantly searching
Continuing to wander futher into the darkness
The darkness that will soon swallow me whole

So I must search for the conquoring light
The light that will save me
Save me from the darkness
Save me from the voices
Save me from insanity
The light that will
In the end
Save me from myself
