Fate Found Me

Endless running came to an end.
There was nowhere to hide.
Fate fell upon to me,
And I had to catch it.
What was I supposed to do?
I know tears will shed.
I know hearts will shatter.
But what can I do?
Fate is inescapable.
But despite the pain and suffering
That my fate brought,
Someone out there bears a smile.
They could bring hope.
Hope that the world will now need.
It hurts to know that they won’t.
Because they are my fate.
